Panama Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. is located at Kakarvitta, Eastern Boarder of Nepal. Kakarvitta is the main entry point from India and it is the eastern terminus of Nepal’s east-west Mahendra Highway. It is next to the border with India and has a checkpoint where third-country nationals may cross.

In order to fly directly to Nepal from your home country, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu is the only international airport in Nepal. Thai Airways, Gulf Air, Qatar, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Korean Air, Etihad Air, Silk Air, Air Arabia, Druk Air, Jet lite, Dragon Air, Air China and Cathay Pacific carry most of the foreign travelers to Kathmandu. If you buy tickets from any other airlines, you will probably connect with one of these airlines for the final leg of your flight.
Alternatively, if you have valid visa, you can also travel to Nepal by land via India and Tibet (China).

October and November is considered the best time of the year. The main festivals of Dashain and Tihar (greatest Hindu festivals) fall during these months. The sky will remain clear and the temperature is pleasant. February-May are also months for travel, as you will see rhododendrons blooming in the mountains while you are on trek. December and mid-February will be snowy and cold in the mountains, still very good times to come.

  5. Mohana (Dhangadi) (Kailali) – Far western part that has border with India
  6. Gadda Chauki (Mahendranagar) (Kanchanpur) – Far western part that has border with India

You can fly between Delhi and Kathmandu as there are many flights available in this sector. Please note that Delhi-Kathmandu-Delhi flight is very busy and without proper reservations in advance it can be difficult to get seats.
Alternatively, you can travel overland to Nepal from India by bus & Train. There are a number of overland entry points for travel by road. There are three main entry points: Kakarvitta, Sunauli-Bhairahawa and Birgung-Raxual. Kakarbhitta is the best crossing point from Siliguri, Darjeeling and Sikkim, The Sunauli border crossing is the best option to make your entry into Nepal from Varanasi and the Birgunj crossing is the easiest from Calcutta.

All foreign nationals, except Indian citizens, need visa to enter Nepal.

You need a valid passport, two passport size photos and have to pay the entry fee.

The best way to apply for visa is from the Royal Nepalese diplomatic missions in your home country. You can get a visa on arrival at TribhuvanAirport.
The other choice is to get it from Immigration Office at the entry points of Nepal.

There are many ATM machines in the Kathmandu and PokharaValley. ATM machines are slowly being introduced to other main cities and tourist places.

Most popular cards accepted in Nepal are VISA, MASTERCARD and American Express. Both Debit and Credit Cards are accepted here. American Travelers Cheques are also accepted in most Banks, Hotels, and Travel companies.

Nepal has a wide range of climates therefore both light and warm clothing in casual and comfortable styles. In the mountain areas, warm woolen clothing is necessary while at lower altitude cotton clothing is ideal. Bring any stuff and you will always be wearing to your comfort. If you missed any of your clothes, don’t worry you can buy Nepalese garments.

Of course, there is tourist police located near the Nepal Tourism Development Board’s Office. Also, there are complaint counters at the airport and Basantapur Durbar Square. Tourist police are specially trained in English and have detailed local knowledge to assist tourists.
