Itinerary
Welcome to the Himalayan country of Nepal. Representative of Panama Travels and Tours receives at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. A short briefing is given to you about the activities of tomorrow. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, you set out for the guided city sightseeing trip. Kathmandu is a city of temples. The tour escorts you to the UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. Temples and Buddhist Stupas are the focused travelling monumental sites. Pashupatinath (Hindu shrine), Boudhanath (Buddhist Stupa), Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa are some of them. The mediaeval arts and architectures are amazing. Drive back to the hotel and take a rest. Overnight at hotel.
In the morning, we drive to Pokhara, which is the city of lakes. The winding road above the River, forests, villages, fields all are awesome. Reaching Pokhara, transfer to the hotel. If you like, we can get out for the boating or walk around the city. Overnight at hotel.
We drive to Sarangkot to enjoy the early morning sunrise view over the Annapurna region White Mountains. They include Mt. Annapurna (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8163m), Fishtail, Himchuli and others. You can enjoy the paragliding because Sarangkot is one of the best paragliding spots in the world. Returning back to Pokhara, city sightseeing can be done as the further program. David Falls, Seto gorge, Mahendra cave, peace stupa are some of the popular sites. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini. The Highway is straight and flat, so the driving is awesome. The sceneries of the green fields and commercial hubs can be seen. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, who spread the message of peace to all over the world. Walk around the Tharu village in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
We go on exploring the Lumbini heritage site. Various features have made this place eye-catching destination in the world. Maya Devi temple, Puskarini Pool, garden, monasteries of different countries, museum and other attractions are spectacular. Pilgrimage trip of Buddhist devotees from different countries come to pay their homage. The surrounding is populated by the indigenous Tharu communities, where you can visit and know the unique lifestyle. Overnight at hotel.
In the morning, we drive back to Kathmandu. Arriving Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel and have farewell dinner in traditional Nepali restaurant.
